Congrats to Justin who ran 2:22:16 at the Vermont City Marathon in Burlington, VT this morning. In doing so, he broke the record for the quickest time by a Vermont resident. More to follow.
At the 1980 Olympic Trials, Vermonter John Dimick placed 17th in 2:16:08. I think that is actually the record for a Vermont male. If you're talking about times run in-state by Vermont residents, I bet Justin does have the record now. Great run either way.
The CMS Men's Open Racing Team is comprised of runners from all over MA, NH, ME, CT, RI, and VT, competing in road, track, trail, mountain, cross country, orienteering, ultras, and snowshoe racing.
Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteincredible.... that + Wiles' victory today at Redhook + MQ's win and sub 16 run in Acton makes for a pretty nice weekend of action by CMS guys...
