Weekend Results

Cross Country season is here and five runners from the Central Mass Striders took on the trails at Elm Park in Wellesley, MA. Arthur Besse took 4th overall with Dave Dunham and Dan Verrington placing 9th and 13th respectively in the masters race. Nate Jenkins won the men's open race, the only runner to break sixteen minutes on the day. Daniel Raboin placed 7th overall. 

Erik Vandendries was the top 50+ cyclist in the Mount Greylock Hill Climb. Further east, Dan Vassallo cleaned up with a win in Peabody and Steve Brightman took 2nd overall on Block Island.

The next team race for CMS is the CVS Health Downtown 5K in Providence, RI on September 17th at 11:00.
